Album Notes
A group of friends and I decided to go sea kayak in the Broken Islands off the west coast of Vancouver Island. Part of the Pacific Rim National Park, the Broken Islands are a marvellous way to spend a week or more sea kayaking. The islands are relatively sheltered, the wildlife is amazing, the scenery just brilliant and you won't find too many people as they limit the numbers on the islands at any one time. You basically sail from island to island and could potentially camp on a different island each night.
From the Broken Islands we also spent a day relaxing in Tofino before driving back to our respective homes in BC. This was a Royal Anarcho-Geographic Society of Newfoundland sanctioned trip which we fondly titled "Operation Fishbait".
