My "explore-Canada-and-the-world" trip for 2004 (usually centered around my coveted Canada Day on July 1) concentrated on Waterton National Park in southern Alberta and the adjoining Glacier National Park in Montana. I had read in a book of world's greatest hikes that Glacier was a place not to be missed.
We arrived with the flowers and plants in full bloom. There were fields by the road and on our hikes where you could lie down and be covered by seldom seen mountain flowers. So without much further ado, I turned on my camera and took errrr TONS of flower photos.
... and if you think I'm a flower aficiando I would like to hastily correct you and point out that my friends Bill and Jill Olmsted, who were present on the hikes, identified those that aren't simply titled "Flower" or "Plant".
On this trip -- Bill and Jill Olmsted and Delphine Lagard.
